Harvest is one of the Stands in Project JoJo.

Overview

Harvest is the stand used by Shigekiyo Yangu in Diamond is Unbreakable, and usually appears in a horde of other identical Harvests.

Appearance

Harvest itself is a very small, bug-like stand. It is yellow with purple stripes. It has four arms, a tail, and a beak. Harvest cannot be seen actually carrying the items it finds, but the user will still get them.

Tips

Countering Harvest

While Harvest does very poor in most forms of combat, a smart Harvest user can be very frustrating to deal with. E and R can almost entirely prevent you from pursuit, keep and eye out for any Harvests they throw at you and try to dodge as many as possible. The E move also has a relatively low cooldown, expect to be slipping around a lot. The biggest weakness of Harvest is that the user must have really good aim in order to put up a fight. Stand jumping and constantly moving around will give you an advantage against them. If the Harvest is fused with The Emperor or Six Pistols however, use a stand that can deflect projectiles (Anubis, for example). A sure-fire way of killing any Harvest user is just stopping time.

Using Harvest

As mentioned above, Harvest is not a great fighting stand. But what it lacks in combat it makes up for in utility. While the Sun is a better stand for grinding for just money, Harvest can bring you money and many items. If you decide to turn Harvest into a fighting stand, there are a few basic things to know. First, always be on the move. Use your Z move to distance yourself so you can throw Harvests at enemies without them being to attack you. Remember that if you use Z on an uneven surface (sidewalk, stairs, slopes) or hit an object while moving, you will stop and may be thrown onto the ground. It is also recommended to hit enemies with R first, as it will make landing the E and Y move easier. Ulf vamp is a good subspec to have, you can heal yourself without getting too close to your attacker.

Trivia

  • Prior to writing this, there were no GIFs of Harvest's "Money Theft" move, as it is oddly missing from its trello page.
