Eh, kinda outdated,[]

Basically[]

What this guy is explaining is something about how to find out the HP of bosses, well you see his methods don't work that good, due to most nerf being useless against bosses.

If you are still interested, here's how you do it nowadays, You take out clean 1.0 potency coh, if it's not 1.0 potency, you'll have to go to traits section for the multipliers. Then because coh Y is 10% of anyones hp, you can use that to uhh you know, hit the DIO or whatever and then mult it by 10 to get its HP.

In the event of a new boss enemy being added to Project Jojo, the first thing everyone does is look it up on Trello. However, sometimes it can take days to see new update notes, and numerical statistics on Trello are few and far between. The problem here, is that people don't know how to research anything in this game.

On this guide, I want to teach you how to find out every last tiny fact about the new boss or dummy. at the end of this guide, you will be able to write in the same level as my guide to Yoshikage Kira. First off, a few disclaimers, 1. random drop rates / spawn rates are extremely diffucult to caluclate, and are, by definition, inaccurate. 2. Some of these methods are made very easy when using a private server, and others are nigh impossibe to execute without. 3. The most useful 'research' stand is The World Over Heaven, this is because it has a 100% damage move, and a time-stop. The significance of moves will be demonstrated later. Rolling stones, Tusk, and Star Platnium Over Heaven are all functional, the math can become complicated.

Step One: Before combat even begins, make sure you are fimiliar with two values: Normal fist attack damage on a wood/ice/metal dummy (which will be henceforth refered to as "A1") and the precent damage of the precent move you are using, e.g. TWOH: 100% Rolling Stones: 25% Tusk: 90% etc. (which will be refered to from now on, as "P1"). **Note that Hamon, Red Aja Masks and Requim arrows affect this value**

Step Two: Wandering. Assuming the only notes on the new boss is thier addition, you must make first, blind, contact. This is not the time to record spawn time, as the spawn location is unknown, and it is a mystery if the boss has been chasing you three laps around Morioh, or they spawned just out of sight.

Step Three: Once the fight begins, start by using your A1 move, and record the damage. There is roughly a 110% chance that the A1 value will not be the same as the value you just recorded, which will now be known as "A2". Next, you'll want to hit them with the P1 move, and like before, record the damage, which must be represented by the variable "P2(%)"

Step 3.5: Kill the boss if possable.

Step Four: Now you have everythin you need to find the % resistance, numerical HP, and Effective HP.

To find precent resistance, plug your values of A1 and A2 into the following equation:

Next take the X% value, along with the P2(%) and P1 values and enter them in to the equation:

This is the final health of the boss. To find the Effective HP of a boss, multiply this number by whatever you got before the P1 part of the equation. This number is what you need to add up to when calculateing how much damage you need to do to kill the boss.

Step five: Now that the math is over, enter an empty private server and note down the time of launch. wait until you can pin down where the boss spawns, and wait until they respawn. Note down the time diffrence between the bosses death and respawn.

Well there you go! if the math was too difficult for you, then ask someone who can do it for you.
